Muertos Turning Things Around?

As the Tucson Muertos reach the quarter season mark, they find themselves sitting in 6th place in the conference with a record of 9 wins, 7 losses, and 3 overtime losses for a total of 21 points. While they are not at the top of the standings, the team has some standout players who have contributed to their success so far this season.

One such player is 34-year-old center Zackary Nowry, who has tallied 10 goals and 14 assists in just 19 games played. His strong play has earned him a +8 rating and made him a crucial player on the ice. Joining Nowry in his impressive performance is 25-year-old right winger Niclas Saarelainen, who has also put up impressive numbers with 11 goals and 9 assists in 19 games played. While his +/- rating is even, his scoring touch has made him a dangerous player to watch.

Another player who has made an impact is 26-year-old right winger Brantley Langevin, who has 4 goals and 11 assists in 19 games played, contributing to the team's offensive production. Additionally, 35-year-old left winger Michal England has also been a valuable asset with 6 goals and 8 assists, and a +8 rating.

Despite the strong performances from these players, the team has struggled defensively. 19-year-old center Dalen Palmateer has struggled with a -7 rating, and the team's defense has been inconsistent, allowing too many goals.
