In Caden Boteler's debut game as a Dockhead, the team faced off against the  Orcas. The first period kicked off with an early goal by the Dockheads'A.C. Westren assisted by  Brantley Langevin assisted by Timothy Pham, giving them an early lead. However, the Orcas quickly responded with a goal from Keegan Ramkema, assisted by Karter Larocque and Jamal Gratton, evening the score. The period concluded without any penalties.

Moving into the second period, the Dockheads regained the lead with Langevin netting his second goal of the game, assisted by Eric Picklyk and Rawley Boney. Yet again, Ramkema of the Orcas swiftly countered with his second goal, assisted by Reeti Tiitinen and Justice Wang. Just before the period ended, Mikko-Matti Forsblad of the Orcas scored, assisted by Aston Critchley and Reko Hongell. 

 As the third period unfolded, the Orcas sealed their victory with an empty-net goal from Aston Critchley, assisted by Forsblad, securing a win with a final score of 4-2. Goalie stats revealed Mangjeol Su-Cheol of the Orcas as the standout performer, making 36 saves out of 38 shots, while Caden Boteler, in his debut, made 18 saves out of 21 shots for the Dockheads. The three stars of the game were awarded to Orcas players Keegan Ramkema, Mikko-Matti Forsblad, and Mangjeol Su-Cheol.

A hiatus in the Gazzet and the hockey team it appears 

The Minnesota Dockheads Ice Hockey team has recently experienced a series of struggles, finding themselves on the bubble line for the playoffs. The team's performance has been inconsistent, leading to frustrating losses and a drop in the standings. With each passing game, the pressure mounts as the Dockheads fight to secure their spot in the postseason. Despite the team's recent additions struggles have arisen, Coach Zorn remains optimistic about their chances. He believes that the Dockheads have the talent and potential to turn things around. Zorn emphasizes the importance of staying focused, working on their weaknesses, and executing their game plan with precision. Behind closed doors, "he motivates his players to stay determined and reminds them that there is still time to hold on and if need be make a push toward the playoffs" said GM Green. 

General Manager and Head of Hockey Operations Kieran Green shares Zorn's sentiment and believes that the team should stay the course leading up to the upcoming trade deadline. He understands the value of stability and continuity within the roster and is hesitant to make drastic moves that could disrupt team chemistry. Green was quoted as saying " I think we found a core group of players this year and have recently added top talent in the league to make things even better if we play consistently I think we can be really good". Green also acknowledges that the Dockheads have the necessary pieces in place and that the players need time to regain their confidence and find their winning form. 

In the Dockhead's last ten games, they have a record of 4 wins 5 losses, and 1 OT loss. It sums up the average play of late. Tonight the Dockheads will face the Chaos away in Halifax at the Chaos Center. The Chaos coming off a split with Cape Cod will look to stay hot as they have 8 wins out of the last 10.   

Around the rest of the league, The Main Mighty Moose are on a 7-game win streak, since the arrival of new GM Joe Larson the team has really turned itself around and is a serious threat to win it all. Just down the road in Massachusetts, the Militia has reached 80 points with 58 games played. the Top 10 Points leaders are

Brantley Langevin is Now a Dockhead. He was aquired for  Elie Van Der Male.  GM Green  was quoted on the trade as saying "I hope this provides us the secondarey scoring that was lackluster and we contiune to play well into the  second half of the season and push for the cup"

 A look into Minnesota hockey right now   

The young but intense rivalry between the Minnesota Dockheads and the St. Paul Razorbacks has become the talk of the hockey community in Minnesota. Both teams, based in neighboring cities, have ignited a fiery competition on the ice that captivates fans and players alike. With each game, the stakes are raised, and the intensity reaches new heights.

The Minnesota Dockheads, fell to the Razorbacks last night in overtime. but as they are known for their relentless offensive prowess and lightning-fast skating, it just wasn't enough last night. On the other hand, the St. Paul Razorbacks are renowned for their disciplined goal-scoring and low physicality. Their style and unwavering determination make them a force to be reckoned with, and they never back down from a challenge. As the teams clash, the atmosphere in the arenas becomes electric, with passionate fans fueling the rivalry and creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

This fierce competition has not only intensified the on-ice battles but has also sparked a deep-rooted animosity between the two cities. Fans proudly don their team colors, engaging in spirited debates and friendly banter that often spills over into heated discussions. The rivalry has become a symbol of local pride, with each victory or defeat carrying significant weight. The matchups between the Dockheads and the Razorbacks have become must-see events, near drawing sell-out crowds and leaving a lasting impact on the hockey community in Minnesota. As the rivalry continues to grow, one thing is certain: Both teams are off to a more than respectable start and whenever these two teams meet, it's a clash that will leave hockey fans on the edge of their seats, eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this thrilling saga.

The two teams play once more this week but again the location is The Back Forty. The Dockhead's next home game they will be having Mighty Ducks night with Emilio Estevez in attendance. Tickets are still available for that game against the Royals. 

Dockheads Next three games @Razorbacks- @Trident-VS Royals 

Looking around LTLHL: you have seen Portland Twisters rise up the standings since making a wave of trades now sitting only 5 points out of a playoff spot after being dead last in the conference. Another team not many want to face right now is the Las Vegas High Rollers they are on a 4-game win streak and currently sit 2nd in the Southern Conference. Lastly and to everyone's sadness the Milita are still on a dominant run with 9 wins in his last ten.

Halifax, NS - 

It's hard to believe it has been 20 games already.  Amazing, its like watching your kid grown up in fast-forward.  But here we are.  20 games in and the Chaos have represented the City of Halifax very well. 

Leading the charges is superstar in waiting, Dominick MacLellan.  At 19, it would have been impossible to have imagined the impact he would have on this team to start his career, or for that matter on the league.  MacLellan has only gone out and put up numbers that best a point per game.  He has 23 pts in 19 games and leads the Chaos in goals (by a far margin) with 11 so far.  "Mac's been amazing to say the least", said team captain Ananin.  "Mac has great energy, can skate like the wind and just always seems to be in the right place at the right time.  You can't teach hockey sense, thats a given and he has more than his fair share of it!".

The first line has been exactly as advertised as well.  Hohka, Ananin and Lalancette have combined for 55 pts, of which 20 have been goals.  The line combines speed, power, skill and smarts.  A tough combo of attributes to defend against.  "I love playing with Hohka and Maksim.  It is so easy to play with guys with their skill level and Maksim opens up so much room for me with his speed." said Ananin.

The D has been led by Rasmus Koso.  He has 11 assists in 20 games and averages 24 min a night manning the blueline. "Let's just say that if I hadnt be named captain, Rasmus would have been," said Ananin.  "The team has so much respect for him and the way he commands the D.  He is a true leader and has been instrumental in helping our younger D".

In net, there was never any doubt that Valenzuela would be the go-to-guy for the Chaos.  He has a 7-3-1 records and seems to be getting stronger as the season wears on.  What is very encouraging is the play of youngster Terrance Audet.  Audet has a GAA below 2.50 and is 4-1-1.  The young goalie has been very good in spot duty and should see more crease time as they season goes on.  Last and not least is the play of Presley Acton who has been very good when called upon due to fatigue to the his other crease mates.  Acton is 2-1 and has played hard when needed.

What will the next 20 games look like in Halifax?  Well, with younger Yarkovoi sent down along with Kolesnikov, we should see more of Matthew Forest and Kazimir Iovsky.  Both will fill roles on the 3rd and 4th lines but should be a stabilizing influence on their linemates.  At 35, Forest brings a mountain of experience and has the offensive acumen that they felt Yark needed to work on in the minors.  "Yark is going to be a great player in this league, maybe even as soon as next year but he wasn't going to steal ice time on the top two lines so it made sense to get him more time in the minors.  Same with Koles, we know he needs more ice-time so the move to the Yeti should help him get his confidence back.  I know he already excelling there so we are pretty confident that both players will be back at some point this year to help us down the stretch." said Head Coach Randy Williamson. "Listen, I am really proud of these guys and the hard work they put in every night!"
